A layer of yellow glass  has been melted on top of clear glass to give the appearance of completely yellow glass.  Years ago this was done to make the bottle less expensive to make, as the minerals needed to make the yellow color were expensive.  The piece has been drilled and bale set with sterling silver.  The pendant meaures 1/1/45" long, 3/4" wide and 1/4" thick and is hung on an 18" rolo chain.
