On a recent life changing trip to Venice, Italy, we were able to get some left over pieces of wood used in the creation of gondolas. We cut out a shape reminiscent of the hull of the boats and then prong set the wood with sterling silver plus added a piece of sterling right down the middle.  Be careful you may have a hankering to sing O Sole Mio, don a straw hat and striped shirt then have a big bowl of pasta while sporting this beautiful piece of jewelry, go ahead you deserve it.  The hand formed silver neckring is approximately 18"  and pendant iteself is 3" long, 1" tall and 1/4" thick and hangs from two sterling "sticks" that are 1" long.
